Andrea Orsini, LMSW, ACSW, CADC

Psychotherapist

Andrea Orsini has a Master of Social Work degree from New York University, and is a Licensed Master
Social Worker (LMSW) as well as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). She is a member of the
National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and has training in and has provided clinical supervision
to social work students and limited license social workers in the process of obtaining their full licensure.
Andrea has worked in various outpatient settings with individuals striving to overcome severe
psychiatric illness, psychoemotional difficulties, addiction, and other concerns.


Andrea has a history of treating a wide array of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety,
addiction, self-harm, anger, trauma, and stage of life transitions. She particularly enjoys working with
individuals suffering with bipolar and personality concerns. Andrea’s approach is primarily rooted in
cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness
practices although she has training in a number of approaches and evidence-based practices. She works
to personalize her approach to therapy to fit the needs of person and to build on their individual
strengths, and strives to create an open and trusting relationship with the people with whom she works.


When not at work, Andrea enjoys hanging out with her kids and cat, listening to books on tape,
watching sports and seeing friends.
