Drake Dawson is a Limited-Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) with a Master's in Social Work (MSW) from Oakland University, a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) from Oakland University. With experience in both ABA and the social work fields, he has combined them as a behaviorist social worker. Drake says, "As social workers, we work ourselves out of a job. If we did not have jobs, Mental Health would be cured."

Drake has experience in several mental health settings, including community mental health, such as working with specialized residential group home setting, foster care, and school setting. He has experience in acute diagnosis of mental health, such as Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective, Autism, Bipolar, Behavior Problems, ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression. Drake is passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. He enjoys training the community and families on multiple topics, such as problematic behaviors and positive reinforcement. Drake has experience and knowledge in guardianship and assisted outpatient orders.
Areas of expertise are behavior reduction (including self-injury), autism, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, oppositional/defiant (ODD), Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA).
When not working, Drake enjoys time with family, friends, and his cat (Q). He likes being active, reading, watching TV shows, and playing video/board games.
