Adela Low

Intern

Adela Low is currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Oakland University who provides a calm, compassionate, and supportive space for clients navigating life’s challenges. She believes that healing begins with feeling genuinely heard and understood, and she approaches each client with empathy, respect, and a gentle, collaborative style.

Adela works from a person-centered and trauma-informed foundation, integrating elements of narrative therapy, mindfulness, and emotional awareness to help clients make sense of their experiences and strengthen their inner resilience. She is passionate about supporting adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma and major life transitions. With a background in financial services and organizational systems, Adela also has insight into the emotional strain of burnout, perfectionism, and work-related pressures.

Her goal is to help clients gain clarity, develop healthier patterns, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that feel most authentic and whole. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and pets, walking in nature and reading, and  listening to music.
