Growth is rarely a straight line, and rarely is it easy. In therapy, we often talk about growth as a process of expanding—expanding our perspectives, our resilience, and our capacity for joy.

Today, we are thrilled to share that for 2026 Lillybrook Counseling Services is doing some expanding of its own.

Because of the trust you’ve placed in us and the incredible community we’ve built together here in Troy, we are entering a season of significant growth. In an effort to be a premiere mental health practice, we are expanding our space, expanding our services, and expanding our workforce.  Here is a "sneak peek" at what’s changing, what’s coming, and why we’re more excited than ever to be your partners in mental health.

More Space, More Healing: Our Office Expansion

We’ve always believed that the environment where therapy happens matters. It should be a sanctuary—a place where you feel safe to exhale the moment you walk through the door.

To better serve our community, as many of you have seen, we are officially expanding our office space! This means more comfortable offices, a larger waiting room, more space for our staff to collaborate, a dedicated area designed specifically for our growing group therapy programs, and a play therapy space where our youngest clients can explore and grow through play.

Introducing New Specialized Services

Growth isn't just about square footage; it’s about depth. As we grow, we will be bringing on new clinicians with diverse backgrounds and expanding our specialized service offerings.

In the coming months, keep an eye out for:

• Expanded Group Therapy: Building on the success of our Questing for Change TTRPG groups, we are developing new groups for various age ranges and needs.

• Specialized Workshops: Interactive seminars focused on parenting, stress management, and emotional regulation.

• Enhanced Holistic Support: We are looking at new ways to bridge the gap between mental, behavioral, and emotional wellness.
