Nick Ivone

Counselor In Training (Intern)

Nick is currently a Master of Social Work student at Oakland University. He has a bachelor's degree in Finance from Wayne State University.

Nick is passionate about mental health, especially in providing services to individuals who are new to mental health treatment / therapy. Nick has experience working with individuals with acute diagnoses of mental health, such as Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective, Autism, Bipolar, ADHD, Anxiety and Depression. Nick utilizes a range of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and others.

Outside of work, Nick is a big sports fan and grew up playing baseball through college. He also enjoys writing, being in nature, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and spending time with his fiance and their cats.
